Oil paint used for paintings exclusively, beginning May, 2007, are manufactured by M. Graham. These paints use walnut oil as a vehicle for the color pigments. Walnut oil is one of the oils used by the Masters in the early days of oil painting. It has the advantage of remaining clear and will not yellow over time, unlike other oils used in oil paints. Beside the advantage over time, these paints are heavily pigmented so paintings remain the same as when they are painted for many years.
